I am highly suspicious of elections actually putting folks of merit in positions that require merit.

In any case, however I may find the police objectionable, and I do, i know ‘no-police’ is not a good work-around.

Just need to maintain order by upholding the laws, and police the police, by regularly shuffling them around so that they cannot take root in any neighborhood within any cabal, and severely punish transgressors. Prison is perfectly good-enough for bad-police.
