I'd like to know how long this information has been known. Especially, was Sprott aware of it when he made his recent additional investment?

Should point out two aspects to that worth considering...

One I think you are hinting at... that if Sprott knew about it and still made the investment... that being a good thing... ?

My concern has been focused more in the opposite direction... that as a smaller investor without an extra $48 million to throw at NFGC in its early stages right now... maybe next week... I'd rather see the effort proceed a bit more slowly... while better proving the full extent of Keats... at depth... and delivering a resource estimate, if not a feasibility study on it... while allowing the higher standard in proofs developed over time to extract a better valuation in shares sold prior to raising additional $ for extending the effort in exploring more places with earlier stage efforts...

Investors right now... can again buy shares cheaper than Sprott has been...

And, I judge that's worth doing... so don't mind buying things of value when they're being put on sale... without feeling compelled to sell things I value more highly, when they're going at the sale price...

But, otherwise, Sprott throwing as much money at it as he can as fast as he can early, while spreading it out over the entire property... is clearly better for Sprott than it is the other investors... as a bit more patience with success in proving "value' in larger terms... might enable raising the same money as they are now... for many fewer shares being sold ?

Sprott's doing what's good for Sprott... which isn't necessarily the best thing for other holders... ?

And, seeing that... might also suggest "what else does Sprott know" about the nature of the deposit and its probable limits... that isn't being addressed at all outside of the inner circle ?

So, some of the impacts of this event... might be better for smaller holders.... if it slows the pace a bit... and shifts focus from "more spots near surface" to "better defining the value at depth"... which is more likely to expand into a perspective revealing more about the extent of the likely value in the whole... even with effort in doing only a bit "more" of that work, with that as the focus, relative to what we've seen thus far.
