TO ALL: I am not sure where to begin, but here are my thoughts:
o Carole, I am somewhat disappointed. If you recall, I took YOUR side on that posting issue with David. My response included David's explanation as to why he quit posting, so you're right, THOSE words were not my own, they were his and I said as much. So what? I for one thought it ridiculous for him to quit posting over one disagreement with you.David's primary reason for leaving was that his broker asked him not to because of the potential conflict of interest with Texas Capital. Now, who believes what I just said is true?
BTW, David Smith has never spoken to Mike Millis. You heard correctly. But I'm sure no one can believe how someone with 600,000 shares would never contact the IR person..
o While very few of you believe this also, the absence of David SmithIsaacs from the thread is not due to his selling his position. If you think about it, you'll realize that if HE was selling, this stock would have been hammered well under a quarter. He is still holding every one of his 600,000 shares, in cert form. And that is what is disturbing, that the stock is this low, in spite of the fact that he has taken 600,000 shares out of the float. Would you believe David was holding if he shoved the certs in front of you, or would you think them forgeries?
What I think is that many from this thread sold because they THOUGHT David was selling,i.e., he's off the thread so he's out of the stock. To me, that is ridiculous, and shows how easy it is to manipulate people and create panic. If he actually had tried to scare everyone, he couldn't have done a better job.
As for MDMI, people were begging him for info on his next pick. Don't blame him for others' desire to make a quick buck.
In any event, somebody blew out a big position today. Research into "who" is still on-going. There are a core group of us left in this stock, myself and David included. I still believe in this company. So does David.
I, for one, can understand why one would get tired of posting information. Nothing I say ever seems to be believed anymore. I am not the CSMA gate keeper. I relay information I learn. If the stock doesn't perform, though, I am blamed and flamed.
For example, the Company has not filed the audited form 10s with the SEC because of issues relating to the law suit filed by Harmer when his shares were pulled for non-performance. Why did I waste band width posting that? Who believes what I just said?
What good would it be to tell you that the four operating divisions of CSMA are stronger than ever? You either believe it or you don't. Hell, I, a short term trader, chose this company as my long term play and I have been accused of supporting some conspiracy while my associates blow out of a position.
We need to realize that this thread is now irrelevant to the ultimate performance of this stock. We need to get over ourselves. New buyers are the only ones who will drive it back up. Those that are left, and still long, will have to wait for that. After the last of the CSMA skeptics blow out, the thread will no longer even have the ability to bring the price down . It will then be absolutely worthless as a predictor of both company or price performance. The company and its management and large outside buying will dictate the rise or fall of this stock, not this SI thread.
So, I leave it all up to you to, as always, do your own DD. Those who wish can post their findings, but be wary of flames. I for one am kind of tired of being the messenger who gets shot at. I will post nothing but idle chit chat and responses from now on because quite frankly, that is what all SI threads evolve into after the respective stocks have been pumped and dumped.
Churchill said that a person never has to defend their integrity. So why am I wasting my time doing that? Still long in CSMA. To those of you who choose to stay: I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. We shall drink together again in Valhalla.
