Tenchu's Thoughts: What the Brandon Happened to Saturday Night Live? (TL;DR: Skip to the end for a good meme ...)
If you have almost four minutes of your precious life to waste, go ahead and watch this train wreck of a routine in its entirety.
There was literally nothing about this whole performance that was funny. Nothing. Nada. I don't know WTF the writers were thinking when they came up with this.
Was it supposed to be "woke"? Was it supposed to be satire?
Maybe it was supposed to break the taboo about discussing abortion in the most "clownish" way.
Now I get it. SNL and its audience believes that the Texas' abortion law is bad bad bad. If a woman wants to kill her unborn child, she should be allowed to do so. And she should be able to do it at taxpayer's expense, because Darwin forbid that only the "rich" be able to afford infanticide. Remember, it's all about equity ... or something like that.
But this skit really doesn't do anything. It's stupid. It's boring. Even the actors were breaking character and stumbled through some parts.
(Yes I know, SNL is recorded live, and this isn't the first time actors on the show broke character or messed up while reading their lines from cue cards. But at least in the past, even those skits where the actors messed up were halfway funny.)
It just goes to show you one thing. SNL has gone completely "woke," and now it's "too big to fail" for the left-wing.
Remember when Trump said, "Everything woke turns to shit"? The cancellation of SNL, a 47-year institution of late night TV, would prove Trump right, and of course, we can't have that.
Speaking of Trump, I'll just leave this as a closing Tenchu Thought:
