Nope Christine! I do not know anything about origins of salsa other than that there are many variations. Styles vary. Instructor says that dancers improvise. She will teach 3 basic styles. But as a follow or the woman, I would follow the lead, a man so he would set the tone. My friend has a home in these parts. I hope that it is okay. She is away at this time so I do not know if she has had any problems.
