ultimate greater fool investment

Well, there's NFT's, futures on crypto, etc. if you want something even weirder.

But I can't imagine speculating on a "real" currency, you know, the kind you buy stuff with and save some for later, if you're fortunate. Sure, there's forex, where a .1% move is significant and a 1% move is a rare event. And plenty of leveraging opportunities requiring 24/7 vigilance. I've never shorted a dollar or bought some kronor in hopes of a double or a steady dividend. You can't use crypto to pay taxes or much of anything else, and any rational outfit that accepts it will convert it to real spendable cash or hedge it ASAP.
