The idea that oil companies might abandon their place in the energy matrix is absurd.

The article to which this is a reply ( Message 33501789 ) is a virtual who is who on players stating that they will be ready willing and able to match mandates within boundaries to offset the critics of oil and gas.

If the claims of Drop In fuel stocks are true, applying to gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, than a trajectory is clear.

Electric vehicles will account for significant market share say 30% by 2035.
Zero Emission Bio fuels the same.

Each of those transitions requires commodity markets to recognize the opportunity for what they are.

You should make a list of every name within the article recognizing that contractural obligations are already underway to architect solutions, for a cleaner energy matrix.

Examine the contracts being let between the food commodity companies and big oil companies.

Doubters need to realize that some of the sharpest elbows in any rooms are names that will bridge nearly all the gaps to be certain that they will meet mandates and claim the rewards in the form of subsidies for doing so.

Its time to rethink the energy matrix, the truest constants will be both old and new names, whose sense for change are optimized by alignment within the entire commodity matrix.

These are exciting times once again.
