Here's how I became focused on the oral antiviral pill... Several months ago the delta variant hit my state like a swarm of F5 tornadoes hunting for a trailer park. Our hospitals were quickly overwhelmed by mainly-unvaccinated covid patients and went into crisis mode. FEMA eventually paid $87 million for 500 medical personnel from out-of-state to relieve our exhausted local staff. In the midst of this I learned that Pfizer and Merck were developing these pills, and quickly understood that such a pill would have tremendous benefits!

Really? I thought it was coming later in the decade, which allows more time to develop (or acquire) new drugs.

For me it's a little of each. When PFE pushed above 50 yesterday, I sold most of the shares I acquired during the September/October downturn. I still have my original shares from April, and may keep some for the long term.
