I thought VARL was as close to a pure play PCS as any, but with the
painfully slow roll out of PCS in the US, and the non-existent PCS
market in Europe, it has been down hill and frustrating.
VARL reported earnings that I too thought would move the shares higher, but conversations with colleagues, reviews of the accounting statements
and so on left none of us with the feeling that this is going to be a
blow out stock. Being a smaller cap stock, it will probably be held
hostage to general market conditions more than any force of its own. And the China connection is probably going to hurt perceptions more that help. Yes, I know that the China deal is not material yet...but the perceived connection is what you should be thinking about...if China goes south, we are in bigger trouble than many.
IMHO.

Do you see any other potential future event that will drive this
stock, other than the gradual PCS roll-out?
