Michael, SIII ? 3dFX, HMMMM too much competition in the graphic business, beside that INTC got into it. ATI tech (ATY.TO) in Toronto canada will dominate the market, those guys know how to make graphic dance. Man the bulls had their ways last couple weeks, they stick their long horns out every where I had to get rid of most of my bears quickly, I only have IBM left. DELL, People Soft and CPQ bulls are taking charge. Good thing that my bears stayed away from the DELL jet runway.
I think the market will remain bullish for a while, I now only have 5% short, I'll plan to increase it to 15% by the end of March. I still think the ASIA crisis is not over yet, the one that concerns me the most is the civil unrest, poor and hungry peoples will and could do crazy things. The earning of the second quarter will give us a clearer picture. What do you find when you do bottom fishing? AMAT? TXN? INTC? Did you get on board the DELL jet? How high will DELL fly? I think it will pull back after the earning, I will sure get in this time. Having the DELL jets and INTC jets flying together will make a lot more sense to my portfolio. I predict that DELL will take lead away from CPQ in two years.
By the way I am glad to see my INTC jet is able to fly again, what a long wait.
