Well I don't get sick often so it was a bit of a surprise.

I think the biggest thing was how it would cycle where seemed like I was on my way to getting over it and then it coming back hours to a day later.

I really think the key is to rest, had I done that early on I probably would have been completely over in a few days.

Funny is, wife and daughter (who lives with us) didn't get it, wife slept in same bed the first few days before I took the test. She has been fine. My daughter thought she was coming down with it and took the test and got a neg.

For me the quarantining effects my wife and daughter more than me. Unvaxxed are supposed to quarantine for 10 days after my symptoms are gone.
