Ike's Interstate bill was radical, and so were "put a man on the moon by the end of the decade" and Medicare, all of which made America great the first time around.

Yeah, like deputizing vigilantes to stop abortions, making it harder for minorities to vote, and replacing non-partisan election officials with partisan hacks.
