I honestly don't remember how it ended up on my radar, but I can tell you how I trade stocks. Different stocks appeal to different types of people. The kind of person who pours over balance sheets and scrutinizes the details is very different from the kind of person who buys meme stocks or plays the momentum game. This in turn gives different classes of stocks different personalities - which is to say the same signals don't mean the same thing for every stock. MTTR is the kind of company that must be strongly trending. Once it started showing a steady uptrend, I knew it would be likely to show bursts of growth. The same goes for the downside. Once I see this kind of stock show a flat to down bias, I don't wait for the trend to be established. I get out before I have to find out. If I am wrong, I will get back on. Not a biggie.
