Golden Predator's formerly owned and then sold or optioned off properties... included the 3 Aces project now operated by Seabridge Gold... for which they were paid in Seabridge shares, and for which they are still owed a little bit of cash, some of which I think is dependent on milestones...
But, also includes the Sonora Gulch project, which Golden predator obtained in 2011 and then disposed of again in 2017, apparently without having done additional work on the project beyond what the prior owners had done. The deal done in the sale was an option deal with Taku Gold... which used to be TAKUF or TAK.V... but Taku is no long listed... as it seems they changed names to C2C Gold recently... after adding properties in Newfoundland... now trading as CTOC.CN
As noted in the video, the deal was done for shares in three tranches for a total of 10.5 million shares at then current price of TAKU,.. but there is no indication I've seen of what became of those shares... whether Golden Predator sold them, or if they retained them in treasury. Recently, C2C traded at $0.15 to $0.17 prior to the Keats discovery... ran up to $0.57 with others in the "gold rush" in Newfoundland.... and currently trades at $0.26... which would be worth only $2.73 million today if the deal were done for 10.5 million shares outright...
But, if Golden Predator kept the shares, they're likely worth far more than that based on the deal price as it was done not in shares, but in dollar equivalents in shares... a first tranche of 4.3 million shares, a second tranche for shares valued at $1.4 million, and a third tranche for $1.2 million worth of shares... on the anniversary date of the deal...
The news was from August 2, 2017... when the shares traded for around $0.22... 4.3 million shares.
In August of 2018 C2C traded around $0.04... which would be 35 million shares...
In August of 2019 C2C traded around $0.07... which would be around 17 million shares...
Making the total of shares more like 56 million...
CTOC today has only 78.72 million shares out... and only 34.24% of shares are held by insiders... that being apparently a hard upper limit at 26.95 million shares that might still be owned by Golden Predator...
I'll have to do some more poking at it to try to figure out an actual number... which seems likely to fall somewhere between the potentials of zero and 27 million...
Note that along with Janet it includes Peter Bures... "presently the Chief Business Development Officer of Star Royalties Ltd"... which trades as STRFF / STRR.V... and is the same outfit as has been funding the work on upgrading the Copperstone Mine... the same as set the conditions for completion of their obligations as being dependent on Arizona Gold completing its merger arrangement with Golden Predator...
