I haven't seen much reason to believe that CRT provokes disagreement among parents. The doesn't seem to be any parental constituency in its favor. It's being driven by the administrators, the union people, and the consultants. When parents find out about it, they hate it.

And it's there. The CRT webpage on the Va. Department of Education's site. The $20K that Fairfax paid to Dr. Kendi. The SPLC teaching tools. Even the fact-check supposedly debunking the presence of CRT admits to a comically long list of CRT-related trainings, reading lists, etc., for teachers and administrators, and concludes lamely that maybe absolutely none of that content makes its way into teaching.

As you'll see from those links, the deniers are basically playing two games. 1) "All we're doing is instructing teachers and administrators about the importance of CRT, but they're free to ignore it," and 2) "we're not teaching CRT, we're teaching 'equity'," which just happens to incorporate the principles of CRT.
