Currency has a bigger effect, but since currency markets move at a snail's pace, the USD effect is much lower than the interest rates. $TNX moved 3.3% today. If USD had moved 3c today the markets would have been shutdown. From its low to its high this, USD has moved what? 6% - 7%? $TNX on the other hand has had a 50% swing.
