There is an incorrect rumor on the Yahoo board that, as the result of a Form 144 filing, there is about to be "massive selling" of TASA.

No....

This is what I posted over there:

Bertram L. Koslin, the former President of TASA died in 1994. In the course of administering his estate, its attorneys have filed this Form 144.

However, I have been informed that TASA's attorneys have not provided the "opinion letter" that is necessary to actually implement such a 144 sale, and that this stock has subsequently been withdrawn from sale.

In addition, these shares are tied up in a Voting Trust. To quote the latest 10-K Report, "the Voting Trust has sole voting and dispositive power" over these shares. It is clearly not in the interests of the Voting Trust that any insider sales occur in the near future...

This event tells us absolutely nothing about "merger rumors", since the attorneys for the estate would not be privy to any "inside information". Likewise, "the merger specialist" has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any of this, since it would not be necessary to file a Form 144 in any type of merger situation. And lastly, no one is selling a 10% stake in TASA - this represents about 2%.
