Looking back & soon to be 78, I'd never work for the Federal Government. Maybe red local jurisdiction. Even state jobs R heavily populated with liberal/left people who are best avoided....)) Lots of better ways to protect yourself from LT inflation which has been with us since Moses came down from the mountain...)) No time to get into details. Have spent many years doing that on my board, among others for the decades I've been an SI member.
