I will tell you from a human standpoint..
No one forces you to pull the trigger.

Maybe odd or not, but morality does come into play (even in VietNam long ago. It would have been worse than what it was).
That's a constant in any hostility no matter what the situation dictates you to do.

I'm thinking personal responsibility for one's actions, is becoming a joke.
