"VTRS. hey, i was not posting that as a recommendation. i was posting looking for help. (1)* why is the PE so low? (2) what is the problem with the company? thanks"* (1) What P/E ? You don't get a P/E when the TTM EPS is showing a LOSS due to = -(915.8+1037.6+279.2) + 311.5 = -1921.1. (2) The "problem" is that the company is LOSING MONEY. Whatever the reason, as long as that is the case it's not likely to attract investors and thereby show an increase in its share price ..... Simple. There may be a slight positive on the horizon as it did show a Bottom Line profit in its latest 3rd Quarter due to a reduction in its "Merger and Restructuring Charges" compared to the previous 2 Quarters ...... I suggest keeping an eye on its future Quarterlies ......
