Please take the time to read the board’s Introduction Header at the top of the web page. I have recently totally revised and updated this and it presents an overview of Baidu’s AI initiatives, including autonomous vehicle via subsidiary Apollo, as well as an introduction to the “nuts and bolts” of deep neural network AI models and training the AI model by optimizing the model parameters using second year calculus,, viz., multi-dimensional Newton Raphson Iteration, aka Gradient Descent, and for really big data/models, Stochastic Gradient Descent.
