Yes, and many lakes, water systems in Ontario have natural mercury in the water ,,contaminating

the fish with mercury.

The government of Ontario makes pamphlets suggesting the number of meals per month that can be safely

consumed,, with further restrictions for women of child bearing age and pregnant women.

Just as “man “caused excess methane in the air,,and natural occurring methane in the air there is

“man” made mercury in water systems as ,example the English River system flowing North to Hudson Bay

from source Dryden paper mill in the 1950’s. Grassy Narrows First Nation suffering loss of livelihood and

many elderly showing signs of Minamata disease. Governments have promised to fix this but no solutions over

60 years, nor will there be as contamination stretches for hundreds of miles.
