Virginia "Ginny" Sorenson (third from the right) was one of the beloved Milwaukee Dancing Grannies. She died yesterday along with four other people in Waukesha, WI and over 40 people were injured.
The police have arrested Darrell Brooks who has been charged 16 times since 1999, starting with a felony when he was 17 for inflicting substantial bodily harm.
A decade ago, a Milwaukee police officer said Brooks was about to be run over him with a car and he had wrestle for control of the steering wheel with the defendant. He ran away but Brooks was only charged with a misdemeanor.
This month, Brooks posted $1,000 bond on Nov. 11 and was released after a woman said he purposefully ran her 'over with his vehicle' while she was walking through a gas station parking lot. Police say prosecutors recommended an 'inappropriately low' bail for Brooks.
Former state Attorney General Adam Laxalt (R-NV) writes "Darrell Brooks, a criminal with a long rap sheet, never should have been back out on the streets.
"Brooks has been charged three times in less than two years with recklessly endangering the safety of others.
"Thanks to the radical policies of Soros-backed District Attorney's like John Chisholm, multiple innocent people were injured and murdered yesterday. These prosecutors need to be stopped."
