In response to your question, I suppose the company is telling anyone who asks that there will be news coming out in the near future updating the company's progress in the internet gaming field. Since the company has stated certain aspects of its business plan already, one infers that this info relates to the opening of a gaming website...although who knows how functional it will be at the start.

Much of the world can legally gamble on these sites (in most of the world, it's not illegal to make a bet, just to take a bet). If US citizens are barred from gambling on the Internet they will be in the minority. I do think new kinds of encryption and privacy (finding an alternative to your typical ISP, like the global satellite internet in the skies type projects) will eventually help people circumvent such rules and there will be little anyone can do to stop it short of getting a search warrant and besieging the operators of the satellite companies (jurisdiction question though, can a satellite ISP out of London be forced to give out info to US authorities...?)

As you see I've done a little long-term thinking about this 'industry'. How FDCD fits in is anyone's question. I have to believe they will be profitable IF they get going soon.

I would also say that a sports book would be the best way to go, because non-hard-core gamblers don't like video poker, and people who gamble for entertainment might not want to sit at home doing it.

But a lot of people make bets on football, hockey playoffs, soccer, etc. Some of the existing sites are doing huge business in a very efficient fashion. Time to market would seem important. You must develop a customer base now.
