The Achilles heal of American Military might is rare earth minerals. We rely on precision like no other military on earth. Precision allows for a small force to amplify its effect on the battle space. Although we have the largest military budget and operational force our ability to generate combat power (ie industrial base is waning at the same time the Chinese industrial base is growing) Our precision is a combat multiplier that allows us to dissuade and deter Chinese ambition. They know it is only a matter of time until they take what they want without firing a shot because of our degradation in precision. Our military budget is somewhat static (yes it grows because of inflation) but in constant dollars it is shrinking. Precision is our only way to squeeze more productivity from the limited resources we have. G-n-G
