I always thought it was interesting that your accent is pretty much cemented by age 16. You can often tell where someone spent their teen years by their accent as an adult. It was fascinating when I heard an immigrant who spoke fluent English all day long talk in their sleep in their native language. The brain is a fascinating organ.
