I am not part of jade confrerie, but from my very limited understanding, jade in the east is like marble in the west, and given the colouration of the stones on the surface and inside, large chucks of jade is also a sort of canvas, and the sculpture arising must use the colours on surface and within


sort of neat, but some pieces are not exactly portable
