MissLil, thanks for your reply agree ~ +/- 100 %. After stating that that clearly proves IMHO that great minds think alike, let me pick on a couple of your points and comments:

"Viagra is likely to work in mild to moderate ED. However, it is unlikely to work in moderately severe or severe ED. "
That's right >And if we teat it against the needle as MUSE was tested in Werthman's article (partially) posted by poodle yesterday, the Viagra response will be significantly less than the 37% success that MUSE had in that study ( 37% of men achieved hardness of 4-5 sufficient for penetration and intercourse as opposed to 95% with the needle). I suspect Viagra will come in at 20%, placebo at <5%.

"PFE is probably a good investment if one can get it at a good price (unlikely). Might be good to buy in February, wait for the expected approval in March (April or May if some minor problem develops), then sell on the expected surge after approval. "
Buying PFE at PE 42 in Feb and waiting for it to surge in March (when I think market is going to be down big time ( because Asia disaster is going to hit Q1 EPS ), would be a giant risk IMO: If Viagra is not approved in perfect condition, PFE will drop 20 points in one day, IMHO.
************

"So really now, what we need is someone to find out what that patient population was. Must be someone who knows or can find out."

That has been the 1 mill dollar question asked of PFE from day one!! They will not release the data because IMO that will indicate clearly that they treated a milder form of ED.

PS I will post this reply also in the "real" Vivus thread 1997/1998, in case some readers don't look over here. i have avoided postin in this thread because it is poorly documented and informed. I am sure you can appreciate that too.
