I'm not much of a baseball fan

Being from the South side, we were mostly Sox fans, but Wrigley was in a nicer neighborhood, only a half block walk from the "L" and I think the bleacher seats were cheaper than Comiskey (or Kominski as Obama says it).

Back then the neighborhood was all residential apartment 2 and 3 flat buildings. The family that owned The Cubby Bear lived across the street from us and we grew up together. I grew up with the youngest George Loukas. Have not been there either but my brother popped in to say hi and reminisce.

AAR, being old and retired allows us to yap and go back in time and remember!
