What is Ukraine's, i.e. ex-comedian Zelensky's, REAL SET OF PROBLEMS ?

Zelensky's problems revolve around the drastic state of Ukraine's economy as well as its pending loss of energy supply in the not too distant future.

Zelensky has been hell bent on distancing his country from Russia and has thereby lost a major ECONOMIC Partner because much of Ukraine's past Industrial activities had to do with its interaction with Russia and Russian industries. This has put Ukraine in severe Debt and caused the decline in the value of its currency.

Then we come to Ukraine's ENERGY PROBLEM .....

For many years Russia has been supplying Europe with gas via pipelines that run through Ukraine.

TWO aspects of this :-

1) Russia pays Ukraine about $3 BILLION a year in order to pump its gas through Ukraine.

2) Ukraine has been "Syphoning" off some of this gas for its OWN USE and then paying the EU for this gas on the SPOT MARKET ....... currently a VERY EXPENSIVE exercise due the the drastic increase in the cost of gas !!!

NOW, the problems are :-

1) Russia will stop sending gas via Ukraine's pipelines in about 2 years time because that's when that relevant agreement ends. PLUS the gas field that supplies that gas is running low. PLUS Ukraine's pipelines are getting very old and much the worse for wear. PLUS Ukraine will then lose its $3 BILLION ANNUAL INCOME !!

2) Russia will be sending its gas to Europe via its NORD STREAM 2 Pipeline via the Baltic Sea and will therefore be BYPASSING all countries, Including Ukraine. That means NO MORE SYPHONING OFF BY UKRAINE OF GAS HEADED FOR EUROPE. That means Ukraine will be DEEP IN THE SHIT because it will have to find its energy supply from somewhere else, and it will cost Ukraine a fortune which it can ill afford with its ever weakening currency !!!!

I suggest Zelensky goes back to doing what he did before he became President ...... Get on the stage and try and make people laugh, maybe even louder than they are LAUGHING AT HIM AT THE PRESENT TIME, especially those who are laughing at him from Russia !!!!!!
