So I suspect factors other than the health risk of contracting Coronavirus are driving the exodus from iconic big US cities. As the article stated, blue state / blue city politics (high taxes, education, mandates etc) plus - decentralization of work environment (work from home) - many relocating to suburbs or rural within striking distance of big cities - crime
