So, If this Omicron version continues with its rather mild symptoms, have we found a home grown "vaccine"?

Once docs in places like the Southern end of Africa start hammering away at COVID-19 with vigorous early treatment of the disease, isn't something like Omicron, that can slip in under the radar because of apparently less disastrous symptoms, a logical outcome?
