South Africa is only 24% fully vaccinated. So much for the notion that the vaccine is causing COVID-19 to mutate.

On the other hand, I'm going to make a "bold" (to use a word that leftist NPCs are using these days) prediction.

I predict that Omicron will be somewhat more transmissible, but less deadly than Delta, even among those with "nAtUrAl iMmUnItY."

That prediction is based on how novel viruses enter and become a part of civilized humanity. Viruses mutate to survive, and killing their hosts is a terrible way to survive.
