Hi HB, I understand the dilemma. We can't avoid it all. (yet). These platforms depend on habit a lot. They reached dominant status and are abusing that big time. They realize that it is very difficult to switch. It is more difficult as well because of the the alternatives popping up.

the new ceo is so friggin UN AMERICAN there are no words. twitter is NOT an American platform. I know Patrick Pichette and I suspect that the reason he is no longer COB is because they have gone full fledged nazi.

Yes, I still order from Amazon but am moving much to other sources. Our very best option is to support local vendors when we can. Amazon has made a ton of money from the pandemic.

We believe in individual freedom and I support your right to handle things as you want both for this thread and in your life )as if that made a difference :))

I just hope we all understand the consequences. I the big picture, if you give $$ to the Salvation Army, it probably still goes to help people who need it.

When we support Twitter, we are supporting an entity that seeks to destroy this country and helped with the (albeit illegal) election of brandon.
