I understand what you are saying, and I don't (philosophically) disagree with you.

However, we have to be practical and in this case, choose what we hope will be
the best in the long run.

When we extrapolate what you said into the whole country, we can get a
feel for what is REALLY AT STAKE!

Everything we have always held dear and millions of brave soldiers have
died to preserve.
