Good stuff. My two cents says that over time most people will come to realize the value of a "front end" which does more than just pay bills. MS Money or Quicken makes the home money management process easy and convenient, and Quickbooks (Intuit's ace in the hole, IMO) does the same for small business. A good front end is especially useful if you have investments you wish to track electronically. In addition to E-bill, CKFR needs to push alliances with large brokers and clearing firms like Pershing to tap the investment market.

For those folks who simply want to pay bills over the TV, a bank consolidator may be enough, in which case CKFR is positioned well.

I still worry, though, about somebody doing an end run with a big web "brand name", especially with the younger crowd.
