I don't see anything strange about Tech stocks rally in S'pore.
This is a general market rally as most of the stocks here,
including the Techs have been severely depressed because of
sentiments.

NO, I don't think this share buy-back is going to happen any time
soon. Yes, most believe it's the eventual step we are going to
take, but not anytime soon as you have suggested and even support
it by bringing up about the property anti-speculation measure.
Yes, the anti-spec was brought about in a very short time, but
this is a simple step and one that the Singapore government has
always been very good in - Hit them where it hurts !.
But there are a lot of things to be considered in implementing this
share buy-back scheme and most people here believe the authorities
are seriously studying this proposal, but don't misled others
into thinking that it's going to happen anytime soon just because
you are one of the shareholder of Creaf and that Creative is
one of those strongly lobbying for share buy-back.

Yes it will happen, soon maybe...but as fast as... TOMORROW ???

A good stock needs time to build up the confidence of investors
into putting them as a long term investment, and until Sim can
convincingly put up good shows for more quarters, most people
will probably be out for a quick buck and take advantage of it's
volatility.
