You can count me in, on that group of people! But, here's where the money is! Its interesting that you say people lost money and have decided to move to blue chip. Bre-X at the time people lost money, by acceptance to the hallowed halls of the TSE 300 had a certain respectability of a blue chip. The people who purchased the stock as a "spec" made alot of money. It was only after it got this incredible "blue chip" market cap that it became a financial disaster (albeit through a lack of "detection" in its earlier days). I am not trying to start-up a conversation on Bre-X but the mind set you described is problematic, I agree! However, in the case of Bre-X the stock we all love to hate (including me) It left its penny stock status years ago. Those who remain in penny stocks very rarely ride the wave that bridges penny to legit stock!!(or for that matter above $10.00, cuzz were stupid. I bailed on DFR at $8.00, I knew better!) With high risk comes the reward. It is a very addictive, this stock trading "thing". But I like it, surprisingly even when I lose money!! Stupid isn't it! I can remember buying Bema at $9.70 and selling it at $8.50 generating a $27,500 loss. When it fell to $2.00 I was patting myself on the back on how "astute" I was. Dorky eh what!! Plain and simple Ed/John/Martin/Geoff/Hutch and all are ADDICTED. I say I am retired but spend 6 hours minimum and 10 hours max doing nothing else but looking for the next DFR!!!!!!!! I am contemplating on moving up to a 48 inch screen so that reading it from 4 inches away will be easier!!!! I'm not stupid though ,I'm waitin for a screen that is soft to the touch. That way when I do a nosedive into it I won't hurt my beak any more. Falling asleep HURTS!! the Chief
