I have been following the market since I was 12 years old and this market truly feels like the twilight zone. The zombies on CNBC are attributing this sell-off to investors panicking over the Omicron Variant. lol Dr Fauci Mengele made a big deal about it today and right on cue sell programs started slamming the indices. It is the mildest variant so far according to the people who first found it. There are only a handful of cases of it worldwide, but OMG! Get out now. Delta couldn't do it, Alpha couldn't do it but Omricron? (anagram moronic)--The Moronic Variant can knock the crap out of the market. I yearn for the days when economic numbers were used as the excuse. This stuff they are doing now is like the Matrix.
