This just mentioned on CNBC by David Faber: The one bright spot in Motorola's bleak earnings report was that microprocessor sales were up, for the first time in several quarters, and who would account for this? Apple Computer. He speculated that perhaps Apple is finally rebounding and that they would keep an eye on this. I believe he said someone got this breakdown on microprocessor sales during the conference call.

This conflicts with the earnings report press release, which says that every segment of the semiconductor part of their business was down, with the exception of sensor products. I read it over again and there is no mention of increasing microprocessor sales. It seems that if there were, this would have been emphasized in the release.
