Roger, Problems with AMERITRADE. I didn't short CSNTE after all.

Yesterday I attempted to sell short CSNTE through Ameritrade on line at market price. Ameritrade went through all the motions and it appeared that my order was filled although when I later viewed my "account positions" and "order status" there was no record of any activity concerning that stock. Today I called Ameritrade and was told that my order was canceled because they did not have that stock in their inventory. It appears that they cancel out but don't advise the client. He explained that I should have called first to see if they had it. He then said that if I still wanted to do it they would attempt to get it and he would call me back if/when they do. So far they haven't returned the call.

Regards,
Tim
