Kingman, AZ: it did not take long to get confirmation here. On our second day here, we took our dog to one of the popular dog parks. We met a couple of city council members and were promptly told that Kingman was an "old boys network.". I laughed and said I did not expect anything less from a mining and ranching town. Actually, Kingman is a city with 32k people. The Good: we are two blocks away from a number of hiking trails. The scenery here is beautiful. I don't have to wear a mask anywhere. I see very few people wearing masks. The people here are more friendly than the people in Las Vegas. Our Airbnb home is nice with all amenities working. Good size refrig and freezer and good gas stove and oven. Heating is fine. No bugs. Nice big fenced backyard, which my dog loves. Wifi very strong. Most of the homes in Kingman are cardboard homes. I think they look horrible. This is a lily white, sort of a redneck neighborhood - though I have been told more liberals are moving in. When I was asked what I do for a living and responded that I was a Wall Street swing trader, lots of faces went through contusions. Also, when I said I was Jewish, I was told that they viewed me as homosapiens too. I responded by saying that's very nice of you.
