RE - Dividend Planning - or Portfolio Methods of Management in Retirement

---------------------------------

I like your method.

As I start to see the light at the end of the tunnel this next year or three years later.

I'll tone down my processes that are tracking everything to see if what I'm doing is working or not.

What I've decided to do is this (I'd like to remain in the 12% MFJ bracket in retirement; currently I'm not in the 12%) for some of my income will be tax deferred in retirement. (I won't go into details) Although, in order to be in the 12% area I'd never be able to have a full time job or receive rent from my two rental properties. (Or my ace cards that have never been utilized will not go into operation)

So kinda what your doing now maybe what I do once I'm fully retired. Another option that I've currently used is setting an annual dollar amount I'd like my Portfolio(s) to produce, say $40K - if I hit it life's good. The following year I adjust the dollar amount up some
