Keep in mind I'm not suggesting one avoid owning SPY after all it's probably the primary holding in most 401k's.

I'm thinking of my son's portfolio with 73 holdings and I'd like to allow 5 of them to simply grow and leave alone, in others words not worry about position size with those 5 other than it's okay for them to be the largest help positions.
