Re: Medicare Payment
----------------------------------

Chowder,

I won't but I'll have other sources of income coming in that will be in (retirement) advantageous.

As most recall I tried to retire in 2018 but things did not go as planned. Basically, everything was ready to go at that time; now I'm just wasting my time earning a paycheck when I don't need it so I invest it.

For I've planned my work and worked my plan until the plan fell off the table. The dividends alone are enough to FULLY sustain I and my spouse in retirement.

Of note, I'll retire overseas so Medicare won't come into play overseas. Basically, TRICARE pays 75% and the individual comes out of pocket 25% if not in US soil - could always fly to Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, or Manila VA Center. (I keep a $100K in cash should an emergency arise)

Also, if somebody needed a job if there overseas they could use Foreign Earned Income Ex-closure (FEIE) as a contractor as long as they remain outside of US soil 335 days a year. (Tax exempt up to approx $108K for 2021)
