November 3, 2021 Big Ridge Gold Commences Maiden Drill Program At Hope Brook Gold Project Pretty much under the radar for Newfoundland... but Hope Brook isn't as much a green fields exploration project as a brown field redevelopment effort of a past producer... It has already produced 750K ounces and has a current estimate of 950K in resources, along with a lot of upside in the still under-explored potentials... some of which requires drilling to validate historic information... and, hopefully, some of which will focus on an effort to upgrade some resources... as well as expand on the resource as they are drilling outside the current resource shell... It made a nice bounce when they put the news out... but since then has drifted back down to the 200MA... With only two drills turning and long lag times in the labs its going to take some time... but, they're drilling 25,000 meters to expand the resource around an existing mine... not a few holes looking for a first find. Much of what they're drilling, at first, looks more like it is development holes poked into fairly well defined structures... So, it should sustain some news flow with results for a while... without a lot of that sort of risk inherent in "will they find anything"...
