Jack's are good dogs. Lots of energy. I recalled two so you snuck one in or me there.. There are hotels that allow dogs such as Drury. I am apt to drive more now than fly. I had a sheltie that was super intelligent. I would board him when I went on vacation. He didn't like other dogs and thought he was being punished. Then I had people watch him.
