Hi Lou,

Seven of my great Grandparents came from Ireland.

I think we are on the same page about us not fixing the issue.

I graduated at the age of 26, I had a 91 weighted grade average and was offered by GM, a sponsored MBA degree.

I left home at the age of 17 and reported to the Great Lakes Naval Station in Zion Illinois on June 10th 1970 (almost 18). I had the privilege of being one of two primary candidates from the state of Wisconsin to attend the US Air Force Academy.

Sadly and unbeknownst to be, I was badly color blind and washed out before attending Colorado Springs Academy.

I had love and good direction from my parents - "You need to get a College Degree", and "you need to work your way though it". A Coop plan was my only alternative per their instructions.

My Dad was my hero and I followed orders.

Bottom line, the family unit is what gets success done.

The lack of it perpetuates government dependency, and singing the blues while you listen to the crap about white supremacy and Jesse Jackson's insane selling out of his race/colored coalition.

EEO dictates in my corporate life, has given the advantage to all minorities, but the story has seldom been told.

Those who have prospered from it have been quiet, but told their offspring it is alive and well. Apparently not wanting to grow the competition I guess.

We'll not solve it, but the bright, the disciplined, will prevail and prosper. It is after all the American Dream of Exceptionalism and Success!

It's not a rose garden, but I'm proof it is doable in the long run.

JMHO

Bob
