I completely agree with their comments.unifab is again up bigtime today.it really is ridiculous how volatile the stock is .nothing has really changed with unifab other than the strongly bullish announcement yesterday since the ipo ,and yet the stock has gone from 18to 40 down to 32 and back u p a couple of times before descending to a ridiculosly oversold 13$.no way of telling where it will be next week.it must be very frustrating for managment having such wild gyrations one week looking great and the next having to explain why the stock has tanked ,it must be very distracting from the business of actually running the company.
the main risk to the company over the long run will be the price of natural gas with a mild winter this year that has clealr ybeen affected ,however i have heard that the winter after el nino is a very cold one on average .anyway my intent is to hold for 1-2years and that was my original plan when i tried to get in on the ipo but was unable to ,never thought i would be able to get in at a price below what it came out at .anyway i just wish i had mortgaged the farm to buy unifab at 13 but didnt .anyway musnt grumble since i have made a tidy profit this week on unifab.for anyone interested in participating in a less volatile way in the acadiana economy they should check out mid south bank corp whose profit was recently up more than 30% and all the other local banks,century telephone a rapidly growing phone company in monroe louisiana seems to be flying also ,its a strong takeover target ,recently reported a huge increase in profit .arh
