Last night a buddy told me he didn't follow my recent buy of Intel at $48.25 because .... all the sound bites you hear on TV.

My reply was they are still growing and making a ton of money. IF they have to spend "too much" to compete with TSMC, then they could become worst case high dividend payers like the oil companies but I'm betting on the upside.

Most of my life I've argued companies that have great manufacturing are ASSETS that governments should do all they can to attract. Anyway.... we know how that ended with most of them going overseas while CA lost chip manufacturing starting with its high sales tax and annual property tax on new equipment....
